October 2009 - Jeffrey Kruger founded the Ember record label in 1960. Many of Britain’s modern jazz pioneers, who drew capacity crowds at Kruger's Flamingo club, went on to record for the label. Fantastic Voyage have produced a compilation 2CD set titled Ember Jazz - The Flamingo Connection featuring a selection of tracks from those albums, several on CD for the first time. The collection includes comprehensive and authoritative notes. Artists include Tubby Hayes, Ronnie Scott, Annie Ross, Tony Kinsey, Bill LeSage, Carmen McRae, Don Rendell, Tony Crombie, Ronnie Ross, Tommy Whittle, The Jazz Couriers, Vic Lewis, Eddie Thompson and many more.
The two CD set contains 36 tracks and some are available for the first time on CD.

October 2009 - Phil Seamen was arguably the greatest jazz drummer Europe has ever produced, with a wonderful feel for time, a true personality with a recognisable sound and approach. He is featured in bands led by Jack Parnell, Victor Feldman, Joe Harriott, Dizzy Reece, Stan Tracey, Jimmy Witherspoon, Kenny Graham, Harold McNair, Ronnie Scott and Tony Coe.
The tracks are from between 1953 and 1972, and come with a 24-page booklet, the first comprehensive history and expert evaluation of this extraordinary musician. Some of the tracks are available for the first time on CD.
