Here we are again back to Bold Street Rooms and now in the recreation room
where we can spread our wings. We still meet once a fortnight on even weeks of the calendar year. Our number of dancers continues to remain between 20 and 30 each session. New members will be most welcome. Our dances are walked through by Dorothy. If you like music and know your left foot from your right foot you are halfway there! To familiarise you with some of our dance vocabulary here are a few names of the steps we use: Grapevine weave, Iockstep, coaster step, heel grind, hitch, jazz box, kickball change, monterey turn, rock step, shuffle, stomp, scuffs, chasse, cross rock, pivot and shimmy, just to mention a few. Thanks go to all our Line Dance members for accepting the change of venues again and for keeping up our numbers Next session 4th September 2009. Report by Beryl Hawthorn Group contact: Dorothy W. |
