This is the page where we'll be letting you know what people are saying about Nightrain.

"Annoyance at Guns N' Roses' tour delay doesn't prevent this from being an exhaustive (occasionally exhausting) check on every GN'R rumour. The ideal place to start for any fan wanting to get their heads round what (probably) is and isn't real in GN'R world is mixed in with details of all new songs rumoured since their reform. Slightly dispassionately written, it's an impressive achievement even so."

"Nightrain managed to bash out three 'zines and still look intelligent even when nish all was going on with Guns N' Roses. Imagine how packed this one is. The Rock In Rio gigs are picked over in huge detail, including what the world's press made of it all. The rest is dominated by readers' views of all things GN'R. Lacks exclusive news, but otherwise essential for fans."

"Devoted to the infamous beast that is Guns N' Roses and, proclaim the Eds loudly, "100% unofficial" with a parental guidance sticker to prove it. For a band who seemed to take six years to get out of bed, let alone record anything, they inspire an awful lot of words here, some of them quite long. There are highlights of old interviews, ads galore, review of GN'R tribute bands and a quiz. Imagine how many forests will die when a new album's out."

“Currently residing in the Missing In Action file - and with Slash’s Snakepit apparently on hold after reports of being dropped by his label - it’s amazing that there’s anything that can be said about Guns N’ Roses right now. But the editors of Nightrain have managed to fill this A4 ditty with loads of stuff about the once great LA-based band. So if you’re into GN’R and want to know anything and everything about them, then this is something to invest in by all means. I’d better not say anything bad about the band though, otherwise I’ll be getting even more hate mail arrive on my doorstep.”
Metal Hammer, issue #75, June 2000

"A bumper fest for all those with an Axl to grind, taking in 56 black & white A5 pages, all nicely laid up and illustrated. A swathe of press appearances, a transcription of Brian May talking to Radio 1 in May, and the perils of rock 'n' roll decadence, nestle next to covers, commentaries, fans' artwork, and lyrical investigations. Videos, an internet directory and the Cat Club gig also mosh their way in, as does a diary of Slash, Duff and Izzy events, not to mention reviews and tribute band tales. Should keep the children sweet."
Review of Issue 3 by Record Collector, November 2000, No. 255

"Guns N' Roses have done nothing for so long you'd imagine there couldn't even be enough material for a fanzine. But here's a bustling 56-pager, wall-to-wall with info, opinion and the tiniest detail any Guns N' Roses fan could possibly need to know. Sounds anoraky, and it is a bit, but with a Brian May interview, loads of stuff on Slash, and for the diehard fan you can't fault it."

"Ian and Kirstie have succeeded in making a fanzine that is adapted to every GN'R fan's needs, continuing to give a perfect read from the first page to the very last. The information and detail in this zine is something special. To be one of the only GN'R fanzines to still be going today is a success, to catch someone's attention and keep it throught the whole of the zine is an achievement."
