Cernunnos - The bringer of Death (and the dark side of Darrian Ashoka's nature)...

He is the horned god, the stealer of life, he is the Lord of Death. His chosen lover is Aurora, the goddess of birth and re-birth... Dawn.

He has died a thousand tiny deaths and each time he thinks of her.

Darrian is at first unaware of his darker side but it seems that the halo brings this out of him. Revealing his portential and destroying any that stand in his way. He has no real control over cernunnos and is even afraid of him and what he might do.
