Based on a vine inlay, whichever one's most suitable, but using a deadly nightshade leaf instead of the normal leaf shape.
Where the normal dot markers
would normally appear, mark the position using the deadly nightshade berry
or flower.
These do not have to be spaced
around the centre line of the neck and would probably look better if they
are not. Starting at the 24th fret, with 2 berries.
Around the 12th fret incorporate the deaths head hawk moth caterpillar under the leaf.
Around the 2nd / 1st fret incorporate
a flying deaths head hawk moth.
The vine could end just before
here (3rd fret)?
If you really feel like it a small deaths head hawk moth, wings closed, could be inlaid on the truss rod cover.
Colours: As it's a moth the general tone is silvery, as if lit by moonlight, the berries and flowers can be a toned down blue / Lapis Lazuli to match the body of the guitar.
Sketch below. Reference pictures underneath.
This just gives the general
idea of what I would like.
The perspective is wrong as
I had to mirror the original picture to get the caterpillar under a leaf
at the 12th fret & the paint finish should be translucent, but it's
the best I could do with the tools at hand.
The inlay colours are just
an indication of the hue within the context of a moonlit scene & the
leaf, berry & flower shapes are a bit heavy handed and not very delicate.

Note the deaths head on the thorax.
