THE AUTHOR
'Fall & Rise' was written by James Dimelow and is his second stage play following 'Cathedral'. James' work has already been
praised by London's Soho and Royal Court Theatres.
James lives and works in Norwich, England.
His hobbies include reading, listening to music, going to the theatre and the cinema. He
is also a frequent visitor to the UEA's Sainsbury
Centre, Norwich Arts Centre and The King of Hearts.
James is a member of Playwrights East, who meet regularly in Norwich, which is
organised through the acclaimed theatre company Eastern
Angles. He is also a regular attendant of Cafe
Writers, who meet at one of the city's most high profile and popular venues, The Forum. James also belongs to the long
established Norwich Writers' Circle who
meet fortnightly at the city's Assembly
House.
During Summer 2002 James took part in a Script & Screen Writing course at the University of East Anglia. He has also completed a Stage
Management course through the city's Theatre
Royal.
James has now completed his third play, entitled 'Avenue', and currently his is writing his fourth.
He is also looking for a theatre company to produce 'Fall
& Rise' featuring it's timeless plot.
James has written a short play for New York's Luminous Group Theatre Company.
