| Rotaract is an organisation for people aged 18-30.
We have to have a fixed upper age limit to be able to recruit people in
at the younger ages. A sister organisation rotaserve was set up for 30-40
year olds. We are affiliated to Rotary
International, and rotaract actually stands for ROTARy in ACTion. Rotaract
is international, with clubs in many countries. We raise large amounts
of money for charities, and are active helping in our communities, but
most of all it is a great way to meet good people, and have a fun and varied
social life. |
We have no political or religious affiliations.
We are a very active organisation as you can see from this web site. We
are always keen to meet potential new members. It is entirely up to you
how much you do within the club if you choose to join. The opportunities
are endless, but even the most active rotaractors have lives outside, so
no-one does everything. However what you get out of rotaract is of course
related to how much you want to put in. You can find clubs in other areas
