Rotaract Club of Brentwood

Sports are a big part of rotaract, but almost entirely from a fun perspective rather than a brutally competitive one. We play sports as a social aspect within our club, as challenges against other clubs and in the district sporting competitions.

Club Sporting events:

As a club, the favourite sport has been badminton for a while, as it's easy to organise and a good one for the whole club to play.
We also play rounders in the summer months, but depending on club interest nothing is impossible, some of our more active members have run in a fun run.

Clubs are encouraged to challenge other clubs. You get points towards a challenge trophy for taking part in a challenge, but it's also a good way of getting to know people in other clubs around the area. This can be sporting, silly or literally anything

District Sporting Competitions

In the District Sporting competitions, clubs get points towards a district sports trophy. People of all abilities compete, and it's always good natured with some friendly rivalry. Brentwood have won some in our time and also come last in others:).
