"Cartoonists are born, not made" some say. There may be some truth in that after all.... Despite studying for a degree in glass and ceramic design, despite his initial desire to study biology, in fact despite all efforts to avoid it, Paul's destiny lay waiting in the doodles in the margins, and never on the page itself. "Hey, just what planet is this guy from?" some others say (after seeing Paul's work). It seems cartoonists just don't see the world the same way as the rest of the human race!

 Oh, one more thing: even though Paul's experiences working with molten glass didn't affect his ultimate choice of career, they did leave their mark on his reflexes - to save on dry-cleaning costs, always warn him before handing him a really hot cup of tea! |
