Chris Cannam

Chris lives and works in London. At work, Chris is mild-mannered and quietly accumulates material wealth. He has recently taken up several new hobbies to enhance his social life, including depression, angst and self-hate. Chris uses e-mail as a handy way to insult his friends without fear of physical retribution.

Chris has a fiercely immaculate record collection. His evenings will often be spent playing Mah Jong, whilst sipping bourbon very quickly and listening to Tom Waits in a poorly lit room. Chris no longer has fish fingers for his tea, partly because he has just shot off to far flung places for six months - keep us posted mate.

Chris has a middle name, but refuses to acknowledge its existence. This may give you a clue.

Chris is co-author of Rosegarden, a free musical notation editing and sequencing system for a variety of machines running Unix and X.
