Pelham Puppet 20"Pixie or Dixie with moving eyes

Unusual Display Size Pelham Puppet Pixie or Dixie (Hanna Barbera), approximately 20", with moving eyes, 1950's. The puppet has been adapted/restrung onto an elaborate control (a T bar with a detachable bar on the front for the hands similar to the disjointing skeleton - see photo). The puppet is made of heavy composition, with corrugated rubber gas mask tubing legs, and thick felt ears, tail, and eyelashes on the closing eyes. The diamante bracelets and belt, and sequins on the head and tail may be adaptations, or the puppet may have been made to a special order. There are some small blemishes and paint rubs, and little dark marks particularly on the back (possibly shoe polish acquired during a working life at the puppeteer's feet?), and whiskers are missing on the right side. Overall it's a stunning looking puppet. Please email me if there is anything else you would like to know.
